- ACM Aviation Joins a Select Group of Charter Operators Recognized Worldwide -
San Jose, CA – July 30, 2009. ACM Aviation, a leader in world-wide on-demand jet charter and private aviation services has earned the coveted ARG/US Platinum Safety Rating from Aviation Research Group/U.S. Inc. The ARG/US Platinum Rating is the highest-level safety audit rating awarded to Part 135 operators within the private aviation industry and is widely recognized as the ultimate confirmation of excellence in operational practices and flight safety standards.
"I am extremely pleased that ACM Aviation has earned this prestigious ARG/US Platinum Rating. Less than 3% of all Part 135 charter operators in the U.S. attain this exceptional safety rating." said Frank Milian president, ACM Aviation. "This extraordinary achievement is the direct result of hard work and dedication from our employees. Safety and security are the paramount principles of ACM Aviation and our employees. The ARG/US Platinum rating confirms our safety systems and processes," added Milian. The ARG/US Platinum Rating is awarded to operators who demonstrate the implementation of industry best practices including a Safety Management System, a workable Emergency Response Plan, and appropriate written standards, training, and adequate historical records for all major aspects of Operations and Maintenance within the company.
“The Platinum Rating is assigned to companies who meet or exceed the established ARG/US standards for equipment, maintenance and crew experience.” said Joe Moeggenberg, president of ARG/US. “ACM Aviation is commended for their unwavering commitment to the safety of their customers.”
ACM Aviation has a dedicated Manager of Safety that has worked with ARG/US to create a customized formal Safety Management System (SMS) to compliment its approved flight and maintenance operating procedures. Based on the Aviation Safety Officers Support (ASOS) service provided by ARG/US, this system exceeds any requirement by the FAA.
