Current Job Opportunities:Staff Accountant/Accounts Receivables | San Jose, CA Location The primary responsibilities include but not limited to: • Assist Controller in the month end closing and financial reporting process including account analysis and reconciliation. • Prepare and post journal entries; Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts; Record monthly accruals, post checks, prepare bank deposits, etc. • Follows established procedures for processing receipts, cash, credit card payments, and customer credits. • Handling billing process including quote verification, invoicing, and statement preparation. • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. • Assists with printing invoices/statements including sending them out and prepare applicable debit/credit memos on customer accounts. • Knows and consistently applies finance concepts, practices and procedures; adheres to company and financial policies. • Special projects as required by Controller. • All other duties as assigned. Skill Requirements: • Bachelor's degree required. BS/BA in Accounting or Finance preferred. • At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting/finance. • Strong understanding of General Ledger and P&L. • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel (demonstration of proficiency will be required). • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. • Ability to communicate and interact with all levels in the organization. • Must work well independently and as an effective member of a team and project a self-directed attitude. • Posses the ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple assignments. |
