Charlie Johnson

As ACM Vice President, Charlie Johnson oversees our daily interaction with the FAA, as well as FAA Operation Specifications. Mr. Johnson is a civil and military aviation expert with decades of wide-ranging experience. Before joining ACM, he worked at the FAA for 30 years as an Aviation Safety Inspector, Principal Operations Inspector, Accident Prevention Specialist, Helicopter Specialist, and Jet Specialist. Previously, he served 8 years on active duty and 20 years in the reserves as an officer in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Johnson holds ATP, ASMEL, Rotorcraft Helicopter, ASES, and Glider certificates, and is type-rated in nine aircraft and helicopters. He has a B.S. in Business Management from the North Dakota State University.
